Jumpstart Learning LLC provides a developmentally appropriate environment that is filled with engaging materials and opportunities to inspire natural learning. We will help guide and facilitate rich discussions to help solidify new concepts while including many hands-on activities. We will meet them where they are and help build their confidence to improve their skills while differentiating to meet their individual needs. Your child can participate in phonemic awareness activities, guided reading, writing activities, math exploration, and more. We look forward to “Jumpstarting” your child’s education.

Jemma Pasmore
Owner/ Lead Tutor
Jemma Pasmore graduated from Boston University with a double degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. She began her teaching career in Chelsea, followed by Swampscott, Marblehead, and Hamilton, MA. After a 23 year career as a Kindergarten teacher at the Winthrop School in Hamilton, MA, Jemma decided it was time to branch out and begin her new adventure. Her passion to organically teach and guide young children, building off their interests, lead her to open Jumpstart Learning LLC, a private early education tutoring center. Jemma's 30+ years in early education has provided her a strong understanding of child development and how to inspire young learners.
Daphne Freeman
Intern
Daphne Freeman is Jemma Pasmore's daughter and has the wonderful opportunity to complete an internship at Jumpstart Learning. Daphne is a senior at Endicott College, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Education. She has always shared her mother's passion for working with children and through this experience, hopes to gain a deeper insight into the career path of being a private early education tutor.
